| In the west part of the old churchyard of Liberton Parish Church is the tall pedestal tomb to Thomas Peacock, a farmer in Nether Liberton who died in 1738 at the age of 85. At the base it has carvings of a winged crown over a winged soul both symbols of immortality. | |||||||||||||||

| Dunbarney Old Parish Church, Perth and Kinross. This gravestone commemorates John Peacock, a wright, who died in 1809. His father, a farmer is also buried here. A winged cherub symbolises the souls heavenward ascent. Beneath are several tools of a wright, including compasses,set square, chisel and saw. |

On the West face; Memento Mori: Crown and hammer, heart upside down,Skull, Hourglass on its side and Crossed bones. |
