"
To all sons of Holy Mother Church to whom this deed is made, Lambert Scarlet of Anandis, everlasting greeting in the Lord, know that I have given and granted confirmed by this present charter to God and St.Mary of York and the religious house of St.Bege in Coupland and the said prior and monks servants of God in pure and perpetual alms, six pennies annually out of the former toft that belonged to Roger Pacok in the foresaid town, lying next to my house, held from the hospital of Anandia. Rendering annually on the day of the virgin of St.Bege the said sum on the great altar of the church. at that time hereafter.And if it shall happen, through absence, that I or my heirs fail to make payment of said sum, it is lawful for them, on their part,to claim it in name of me and my heirs. Indeed, I and my heirs of the above named sum shall warrand, acquit and defend the above named religious house and monks against all men. And in order that my gift and grant shall endure forever, my signature is appended in testimony.
Witnesses Walter Longg, John, parson of Castellomilch, Hugh Thramel, John Ruff, Mr.Robert, Bernard son of Robert, Robert Decane, Reginald of Crofell and others."

NB. This charter is for a Lambert Scarlet, he has to pay the six pennies annually. The property formerly belonged to Roger Pacok.
