| This silver watch is reputed to have been given to John Paul Jones in 1765. John Paul Jones is credited with being the founder of the United States Navy. C.R.Arbigland is the sender of the watch and with it a letter from Walter Peacock of Aberlady. The watch is currently on display in the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh. | ||||||
