This is Kildysert area but not a very good scan. I'm at the mersey of my neice so its her fault. Kildysert over to Kilmihil area is where the majority of Normys in Clare lived as far back as can be determined(1820s). My guess is that the Normys somehow arrived here from Eastern Clare in mid 1600s. This is assuming were a branch of the MacNamaras as the expert say. Around 1650 the native Irish were robbed of their land and driven off. By our friends the English. Just to the south in Limerick is where the majority of the Normys in Limerick lived at this earliest time.
