With a win over CLANKILLERS 23-1on de_cobble.  This ended a streak of a record 453 losses on the map for Clan Monopoly.  Important note:  NO MORE COBBLE FOR US, for more of my feelings on this, go here. Thanks to Community, Baltic, Marvin, Income and New York for playing.  In other news, we won a match on OGL open against clan MOSS 35-2 on prodigy, and then promptly lost an overtime Central match 14-16 to KrU on, of course, cobble.  GG to those clans we played, a wonderful time was had by all.

Clan Monopoly improves to 4-0 on CAL Open

With a win over Demons With Guns 19-5 on de_train.  GG to DWG, who proved very classy.  We wish them luck in their future cs endeavors.  Thanks to Community Chest, Shortline, Iron, Income Tax, and Marvin Gardens for playing. 

Also, perhaps you've noticed that monopoly actually has a site that we can access now.  I'd like to say I'm responsible for the outstanding design and implementation, but all kudos goes to [EOAK][EGO][AMISH][sic][$?] SPOOK (aka AlphaTek Designs).  What can I say, the man knows his way around html, css and photoshop.  He's a very busy guy, though, so I will be handling modifications and sharing update responsibilities with fearless leader, Baltic Avenue.  Now, to the business of finding a host not so....ah...geocities.

Lastly, it appears we've joined the OGL East Advanced ladder.  What the hell, we have plenty of members showing up for matches, and likely more dependable members on the way.  Hopefully this ladder will provide, erm, stiffer competition than the other ladders and we'll get more experience against the caliber talent we'll be facing in CAL and beyond.
