There are many questions I am sure still going through historians minds, but I know one thing, I have seen something in my mind that makes it all too real. If you have seen Braveheart you have a clue about what it must have been like. All things considered though it was quite a bit more peaceful for the farmers in Scotland in the 1200's. Rolling hills and animals grazing as far as one could see.
