Clivis Colm McCullough
Clivis grew up in a close family, who were isolated from other clans.  Although educated and well traveled, now he is more of a home body.
He has a bitter hatred for all things English, which he tends to brood upon when left alone.  He is sullen and moody most of the time.  However, when he is with is clan and close friends he can still remember how to laugh and have a good time.  Sometimes the fun is against his better judgement and will, but he can find himself enjoying things on occasion.  He enjoys telling tales, sitting around a fire and drinking late into the night.
He feels regret that his wounds have taken away his fighting edge, but is still willing to take up his hammer and fight the English.  He is very fond of good drink and good food.  Notheless his lessend mobility has given him yet another thing to brood about.
As has the losss of his wife.  He feels the loss of companionship and believes it is the gods will that he will die a lonely bachelor.  Even though his friend beleive this to be false and are always on the look out for a potent new friend or perhaps future wife for the lonely one.  He feels the lost most often when he thinks that he will be the last of his line.  William, his half-brother, has two daugthers, but the family name McCullough will end with Clivis if he never remarries.
Clivis, despite bouts of moodiness, has many friends and is well liked for reasons that seem to ever-alude even him.  He has a hard time not supporting and trusting people even after they have betrayed him.  He has always been quick to friendship and quick to pain and still he remains.  He tries always to see some good in even the lowest of people.  He is always in hopes for changes for the better in people even though he knows that he is given them a new opportunity to betray him again.
If Clivis likes you he would be willing to help however he can.  He enjoys giving gifts and surprising people for no reason at all.  He finds joy in the faces of people he has made happy.  But if he dislikes you it takes a lot to gain his favor.
Clivis lives in changing times and is unsure about where he fits in, but his trusts his clan and tries to live life one day at a time.
