Welcome to my little corner of the Clan Le' Femme homepage!  I'm honored that you would want to visit!!  In any case, would you like to hear about my life?  I warn you, it has not been an easy one.  Let's see... I was born 980 AD to Jean-Marc and Jasmine in Gaul (now known as France).  Shortly after my birth, a few months to be more precise, my mother up and disappeared.  Due to that, my father decided that he couldn't give me the kind of care that I deserved and gave me to the Lord's wizard, Craigen.  Oh, and did I mention that my mother was not human?  To be honest, we're not quite sure what she was, but whatever it was, it entailed the use of magic.... which I inherited.

    In any case, I was raised in the Lord's chateau by Craigen who taught me the use of human magic.  After that, life was uneventful - the days were spent aiding Craigen and with studies while my nights were filled with patrolling with my beloved clan.  Oh, and that's another thing.  The Lord's chateau was protected by a noble clan of gargoyles.  Somehow I learned a spell that transformed me into a gargoyle so that I could patrol with my clan.  Still, life proceeded as such until one beautiful summer day when I was just seventeen - the Roman's attacked.

    Like most invasions, a massacre ensued during which my entire clan was destroyed.  I tried to help them.. oh how I tried.  But, I allowed my anger to cloud my judgment and I was bound in iron, making me nothing more than a defenseless girl.  So, I was forced to watch my clan's destruction, the guilt lying heavily on my shoulders, and then I was marched to the city of Reims were I was tried and convicted of being a witch.  Then, I was burned at the stake...

    Well, not completely!  My mentor, teacher, and father of sorts, Craigen, managed to save me before I could sustain too much damage by the fire.  Then, he placed me in an enchanted spell that lasted for one thousand years.  I awoke from the sleep a few summers ago and re-entered the strange world, amazed with the changes that had taken place... but alas, I was alone.

    And so, after another tragedy befell me (a new friend had perished in Paris... maybe more than just a friend) I decided that it was time to leave my native France.  And so, I left and I traveled to the United States.  And here I have been ever since.  After some time, I happened to stumble upon my close friend, Skydancer, a gargoyle much my own age who came down from the mountain, fully isolated from the modern world, by a small gas station in the town of Castellum deGens (a mix of Latin and French that means Castle of People).  Together we and our growing clan inhabit our mansion in Castellum deGens, a haunted and beautiful home that is called Janua Caeli.  Here, we hope that our clan will grow as we stand guard over the small golden egg that was entrusted to us by Sunshine, a noble gargoyle that died to save her egg.  We protect our city from outside and from within.. and from such horrors as Storm and his wife Shaylyn, two evil beings who lust after the golden egg.  More recently, a mysterious fae has joined our manor, Byrdie Fae, as well as Shadow, the Firedancer, Pendragoness and Merlyn the Mad Mage.  In the end, friendship will always prevail making sure that the Clan will always survive...

  And Then There Was Three... is co-authored by both Skydancer and Byrdie Fae and introduces a new ally in a fight against an old foe.

  Fright in the Night is co-authored by Skydancer with a cameo done by Byrdie Fae in which the unexplained traditions of Halloween adds a new twist to the favored holiday.
