So you want to know about the Firedancer huh? Well you've come to the right place.
My given birth name was Rachel, though for obvious reasons I was nicknamed
Red.  My Clan and I lived in southern California, but sadly an earthquake during
the day killed my family.  I too would have been smashed to pieces if it weren't for
the kind Padre who gave his life to catch my small stone form.  Two kind firefighters
named Kit and Tina found me just after I awoke and took me in.  They introduced
me to the rest of the crew shortly thereafter, and I had a new family.... the Fire Clan.
I was raised in the world of firefighting and there was nothing I wanted to do more
than help people.  When a young man named Alec joined our crew, I had no idea
how much he would turn my world upside down.  Because of him, I found out I had
more than just gargoyle blood running through my veins.  The Lady of Angels, a Fey,
former guardian of Los Angeles, and an ancestor of mine, helped me to unlock the
healing powers I unknowingly possessed.  After Alec became my mate I discovered
that my father-in-law was the Guild Master to the Thieve's Guild, and Alec was his
Heir.  You can imagine my shock when I learned of my mate's past connections to
the Underworld.  But perhaps you are wondering where the Firedancer came from.
That is a story to come.  Sufficed to say it started out as a nickname when I first
learned to master gliding in the tornado like winds of brushfires.  Sadly, it took on a
frightening new meaning when I..... obtained the powers I now possess. Visit again
soon and I shall resume my story.
