Blizzard has announced that
it will be upgrading it's Battle.net Forums. Here is what they had to say: "Blizzard
Entertainment is pleased to announce some necessary enhancements to the Battle.net
forums. In conjunction with the Warcraft� III: Reign of Chaos� beta, we will be
implementing a series of upgrades designed to make the forums more secure, stable,
and inviting. During this time, all forums will be down except for The Battle.net Status
Forum, Blizzard Technical Support, and the Ladder Games reporting forums. Our first
upgrade will be the implementation of forum accounts -- a logon system that will allow
users access to the unique services that the Battle.net forums will soon feature.The
new forums will go live in conjunction with the Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos beta test.
After that, we'll be implementing additional upgrades. Stay tuned to this site for
additional news, and be sure to return here once the forums have been reactivated to
reserve your official Battle.net forum account."
