In there beginning there were no Clanimals. The world was a silent place. God looked over his magnificent creation and marveled at the exotic flora of his garden paradise. However, it was a dreadfully dull world and so he scattered upon his realm a number of magical eggs.

On the first day of hatching many Clans Turtle found themselves flapping about on the scorching earth of the fields of green. Most felt vulnerable and had an intense desire to get to the refreshingly cool seas of orange. Many made it, but a few fell to Clan Seagull Chicks who had early on discovered that nothing makes a tasty feast quite like a baby turtle.

Many months after the first day, Clan Sea Elephant reclined in the depths of the purple ocean. Life had been good to him. Battles with Clan Octopus had gone well and he had secured a nice purple kelp field from his victory. He picked a few rogue tentacles from his teeth then began to munch on his newly acquired crops, hopeful that adding fibre to his diet may relieve his dreadful constipation. After his meal he felt a craving, for something a little sweeter. Something he hadn't eaten for many a moon, something small and delicate... Baby Turtle.

He looked in his kelp fields, no turtles. Enquired of his neighbours, they hadn't seen any either. But the craving grew so he went hunting. Northwest, over the seas of orange and back to the land of green. There he saw a pile of empty turtle shells and a flock of Clans Aves. They were greedy, fat and lazy, and had lost their ability to fly. Clan Sea Elephant had worked up quite an appetite on his long journey and immediately sunk his teeth into Clan Dodo. Clan Penguin waddled desperately away but soon went the way of his ally. Clan Sea Elephant was soon full once more and reclined for a much needed siesta, squashing an unsuspecting Clan Rooster in the process.

With the predators now gone Turtles once more began their exodus to the seas of orange. Clan Sea Elephant scooped up a flipper full to eat on the journey home. Back through the seas of orange and to his beloved purple kelp fields where he was promptly consumed by Clan Sperm Whale.
