| Card Captor Sakura is a manga and anime series created by a group of four japanese women that call themselves CLAMP. Card Captor Sakura stars a young japanese school girl named Sakura Kinomoto. Sakura discovers a magical book, she opens it to find out that magical cards called clow cards start to escape. Before Sakura realize what happened all the clow cards have escaped into the world. Then the seal on the cover of the magical book starts to glow and then appeared a creature. The creature's name is Kerberos (Keros, for short), for Kero told Sakura to capture all the cards or evil will befall our world. A sealing wand appears and Sakura takes it and so her journey begins... In the series Sakura will meet up with other characters that joins her quest to capture all the clow cards. Tomoyo, Sakura's best friend and classmate. Syaoran Li, a boy with magical card captor powers that wanted to take Sakura's sealing wand but soon became her ally. Meling, a girl that is an ally to Syaoran Li and also helps with capturing clow cards. The series is not just about Sakura capturing all the clow cards for Sakura will also learn and discover the mysteries and powers of the clow cards. |
