more words...

i realize i am a day early posting this, but i know i will forget tomorrow morning in the ohmygoditsmonday rush of things.

i've lived in this area for almost 16 years now, and i am still amazed by the things i haven't done and the places i haven't visited. this is the first time i've driven down to seattle and walked through seward park.

it was full of people with too much money walking or running with their dogs and children for the most part, but at this time of year it doesn't appear to be as crowded as, say, during the summer and the seafair celebrations. there were probably more people in the water--in canoes and sailboats--than people in the park.

i rather liked watching all the crews rowing by, the synchronized movements making them more borg than human.
