alive by default

i have been ignoring the plants on my back porch.

i didn't mean to, it just sort of happened. sort of like i didn't mean to not update the journal, that just sort of happened too. not to worry, all of march is now caught up and once again i will make some lame promises that april will be better. anyhow, back to the garden.

in spite of my not watering the plants, not pruning them, not doing a damn thing to them, the geraniums are still alive. so is the rosemary, the parsley, and five other plants of unknown origin. it is amazing, and has filled me with amazing guilt.

i really need to tend to things more often.
