[hangs arm off side of bed trying to pet cat's head in hope of shutting cat's mouth] peter parker: [stands at side of bed, avoiding hand at all costs, looking up at claire] meow memowwww meow where are all the people? claire: [climbing out of bed, scooping up cat, and furiously petting cat's head] what is your problem? bad cat. bad. peter parker: [squirming out of claire's arms and runing down the hall] mreeep oh, there you are, okay now, i'll leave you alone for ten minutes, go back to sleep, i'll talk to you later mreep mrowww! yes, i could shut the door, but then he just yowls and yowls and yowls. it is a most heartbreaking sound, and i am a notorious softy. wondering if god makes a meowless cat, claire
