Role-Play... something we do with our time when fanfiction and scouring for images on the net is just not enough. It's taking your fantasies out of your head and acting them out with various people who are just as creative--and often just as insane and kinky--as you are. However, sometimes simple role-play isn't enough either and fanfiction from the wacky ideas created in the role-play get written down into fics. Here is where you'll find such fics.
Be wary, for the rp-inspired fanfiction contained within plays havoc with the Gundam Wing historical storyline. Sometimes, there isn't even a timeline that fits! Everything here you can pretty safely say is in an alternative universe (AU), with threads of completely different universes blended in.
This fanfiction is related to the storyline depicted weekly on Joss Whedon/Mutant Enemy's series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you've never seen the show, then you are missing something. It's a story that can be summed up by it's opening paragrpah:
As long as there have been demons, there has been the Slayer.
One girl in all the world, a Chosen One, born with the strength
and skill to hunt vampires and other deadly creatures... to stop
the spread of their evil. When one Slayer dies, the next is called
and trained by the Watcher...
This rp is a combination that takes the elements of a slayer being one girl incarnated throughout the centuries and combines it with Gundam Wing's characters, Heero Yuy and Duo Maxwell. In this instance, however, Heero Yuy is a vampire and Duo Maxwell is his fledgling. There are no mechs, this is complete alternative universe. The vampires aren't painted in a good light, for in Buffy, vampires are demons inhabiting a human body without a soul, therefore no guilty conscience. As Angel, the soul-cursed vampire says on the show, "I lived my life bringing a bloody death to everyone that crossed my path and I did it with a song in my heart."
There are four characters thus far that make up this era. Katia/Kate, who is the rather dark and sexual slayer; Jenn (yeah, like it takes you that much to guess who plays her. *rolls eyes*), an innocent witch who has interests in the slayer; Heero, known as an ancient vampire who has a vendetta against slayers, but has been cursed with a soul (yes, sorta like Angel's character); and Duo, his soulless fledgling who's just waiting for Heero to lose his soul again.
So, if the idea of Heero and Duo being soulless vampires bothers you, don't bother to read any of the fiction!

This fic was a Christmas present for my role-play partner, Kate Taschereau. This is a little look into vampire Heero's past with his fledgling, Duo. It's a one-shot with heavy research and basis in the medieval era. Contains yaoi and non-yaoi sex.
