Part 3
Shane sat awake from early on, all the guys had to be downstairs for 9 o clock, but he just couldn't sleep right. Could it be his Holly? He was sure it was just a coincidence, because her surname was different. It was weird, if the name would've been the same, he would have given anything for it to be her, now he was hoping against hope that it wasn't. He half heartedly sat flicking through a magazine.
"Shane! Ready to go mate!" Ki called while knocking on the door. "Yup, coming!" He yelled back and grabbed his coat, and went to the door.
"Looking great mate! Are the bags under the eyes part of the look?" Bryan teased as they walked down. "I'm not that bad, am I ?" Shane was instantly concerned, if they looked like hell, Louis would give them hell.
"Have you looked in a mirror yet?"
"Well..."
"It's ok, make up people at the shoot will fix it." Kian said, and warned Nicky and Bryan from making anymore jokes, guessing why Shane hadn't slept. "Yeah, god, they'll turn you into a drag queen given half the chance." Mark laughed. They all walked down to the van and piled in. They pulled up to the studio and wandered inside. Anto led them through to a room where they were going to do the photoshoot and interview. It was very informal. Shane slouched down on a bean bag and started fidgeting. "Shane, I'm going to kill you, quit it!" Nicky cried, and flung a cushion at him.
"Sorry, I'm just nervous." "Why? It's like the thousandth interview!" "I think it's more to do with the interviewer." Kian said quietly.
All of a sudden the room door flew open and the interviewer ran in, dropping her papers. "I'm so so sorry!" She cried. "It's ok." Mark said, and helped her pick up her papers.
"Hi, I'm Holly Matthews." Shane finally looked up, it sounded a bit like Holly, but the accent had some American in it now. She was wearing sunglasses and her hair was dyed a dark brown colour now, but it was her. "Oh my God! Shane! It is you!" She cried and ran over and hugged him.
"Yeah, it's me Hol, how you doing?" He was still hugging her. "I'm ok Shane, look at you though! Wow!"  She let him go.
She introduced herself to the others. "Oh my god, Kian Egan. Thought you wouldn't be seen dead in a boyband." She slaughed, he blushed. "Yeah, well, you know how Shane is when he gets an idea in his head, it's good to see you."
"Ok, let's get started." "Aren't you going to take off your glasses Holly, let us see your face." Bryan teased.
"Umm, no, got a bit of a headache." She explained, looking down.
"Oohh, wild night last night?" He asked, laughing. She looked uneasy, "something like that, yeah." They got on with the interview, Shane couldn't help but feel that something wasn't right, she didn't seem herself. After the interview, there was a break before the photoshoot. "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go and get something to eat." Shane said to Holly as they walked along.
"Umm, I'm not to sure, Greg's due in soon, I should probably go and get Abby off him."
"Abby?"  "She's our daughter."
"You and Greg are married then?" Shane asked, his heart sinking.
"Yeah, for just over a year."
"That's great Holly." He tried to hide his sadness. "Holly!" An american voice shouted behind them. They both turned around, a tall, heavy set guywas walking towards them, carrying a toddler. "Hi Greg." Holly tried to sound happy to see him, but Shane could tell she wasn't. "Hey Abby!" She cheered up instantly. "Who's this then?" He asked, staring at Shane. "Umm, hi, I'm Shane Filan, from Westlife, I knew Holly when she lived in Sligo." He explained, nervously.
Greg scared him a little. "Oh right, it's always nice to meet some of Holly's friends." He put his arm around Holly's shoulder, a clear sign for Shane that she was his. "Yeah.umm, Holly, I'll see you later, ok?" She nodded. "I'll see you later Shane, I'm doing the photos." Greg added.
"Yeah, see you." He walked away, wushing he hadn't left her with him. He couldn't think why, he just couldn't trust him.
