| They had been driving for what seem like hours and Mallory and LeLe were getting restless in the van. "Are we there yet??" LeLe whined as she rested her head against Bryan's shoulder. "Almost love...almost...." Bryan assured her. "It's been an eternity and a half!! Where are we going anyways??" "Shh love....you'll like it I promise.." Bryan kissed her forehead softly. Mallory shook her head at the display of affection and glanced over at Shane. Thankfully Shane was soundly asleep and hadn't seen anything. "Worrying you're pretty little face off again?" Mark asked. "I can't help it. Bry's beginning to show more affection for her and what if Shane catches it?" "Really Mal, it's no big deal, it's not like she's seriously dating any of them. We Irish are very affectionate, that's all." "Ah...we're here..." Nicky announced. "Finally..." Georgina yawned. LeLe carefully nudged Shane to wake him. "Wakey...wakey...sleepyhead..." she giggled. Shane's eyes shot open, "Well hello there beautiful!" he smiled. "Oh shhh Shane!! Come on!! We've arrived." She beamed as walked and found themselves in the middle of the most beautiful place she had ever seen. "Heaven..." LeLe gasped, "absolute heaven..." The sun shone down and illuminated the surrounds around them, it came straight out of a fairytale. "I thought you gals would like a nice picnic in the best spot in the world." Kian grinned. "What's the name of this beautiful place?" LeLe asked in excitement as she took in all the beauty around her. "Lover's Lore..." Bryan smiled putting an arm around LeLe. "It sounds soooo romantic...and sooo appropiate for this place...how on earth did you find it??" "My family's known about it for years, there's an old story to this place, see that big willow tree over there?" Bryan pointed. "uh huh...." "They say that if lovers go under that tree and leaves begin to fall, the lovers will be happily married for life." "Is it true??" she wondered as a thrill came through her. "I think so...my grandparents went under that very tree and the leaves fell, till this day they're happily married." "Ohhhh that's sooooo romantic..." LeLe sighed. "You and your romanticism..." Mallory laughed. LeLe stuck her tongue out at her, "It's a beautiful story Mally...." "yes...I know...now come on and let's all settle down...." Everyone gathered onto the huge blanket that Georgina bought and talked and laughed and ate. They all had a great time getting to know each other better. "ahhhh now that was a wonderful meal...." Nicky smiled contently. "I'm a bit tired now...how about we relax for the rest of the afternoon and head back later?" "Sounds good to me..." Georgina sighed sleepily as she rested her head against Nicky's and soon fell asleep. "Come on Le...." Bryan took her hand and they walked off together talking. Mallory watched with a frown, it's not that she didn't like Bryan, he was a nice guy, really. "This picnic was a wonderful idea!! Which one of you boys thought it up??" LeLe smiled up at Bryan. "All of us actually, we really enjoy the spot and wanted to share it. Thank God the day turned out perfect for a day out." They walked a bit further and found the perfect spot to sit and talk at. "This place is really just so magical...." "It kinda takes you into another world huh? World with no cares...where you can be as free as a bird..." "That's exactly how I feel!! I don't think anything can go wrong here. It's too beautiful for it to." An akward silence soon followed. "So tell me Bry...out of curiosity...why is a handsome guy like you still single?" "Just haven't found the right one I guess..." he smirked. "HEY!!! That was my line!!!" LeLe laughed. "Seriously...it's the truth though....no one has matched my standards...I've been out with many girls but no one has ever caught my eye...not yet..." "Ever been in-love??" "I thought I was once....." "What happened?" "She was wrong for me....I had been dating Kerry a year....she's from the pop group Atomic Kitten, I thought she understood me since she was in the same place. But I was wrong, she was full of deceit and lies...." LeLe looked at him sadly, the thought of someone breaking Bryan's heart bothered her. "I'm so sorry Bry..." He gave a small smile, "Don't be...it was all for the best...I'm glad I found out then and not years later when I thought I would marry her....what they say is true...you can't hide your true self too long cause sooner or later it's gonna come out...." "Can....can I ask what she did so wrong??" Bryan blinked back some tears, "Besides her millions of lies and thousands of promises? She cheated on me for months....played with my heart......lead me on...." A small sob escaped Bryan's lips before he quietly broke down. "Oh Bry...I'm sooo sorry....sooo sorry...i should've have made you remember all this..." Lele held onto Bryan tight hugging him, wishing she had never brought up that Kerry girl in the first place. "I'm sorry Bry....I'm sooo sorry..." she rubbed his back trying to get him to stop. Bry held onto her tightly, years of the built up frustation he held of Kerry and her lies soon flowed out. As he cried his eyes out and listened to LeLe's comforting words, his soul was releasing the pain and was easing. Bryn let go and looked down into LeLe's tiny face, staring into her sparkling dark eyes. "I'm sorry..." she whispered again as tears were about to brim. "shhhh........." bryan gently wiped a single tear that cascaded down her face. "Don't be sorry Le.....I've had that built up in me for too long....thank you for helping me take it out...." "I didn't mean to bring back bad memories...." "I know you didn't....and it's okay.....you helped.....a weight's been lifted off my shoulders...don't worry about me now...I'm fine...." She looked up at him, and the look on his face made her want to take him into her arms forever. To let him know that not every girl was like Kerry but given the chance, she could prove to him that he could be loved forever and feel the eternal bliss of happiness. But LeLe shook the thought out of her mind, she didn't come here to fall in love,and most of all to someone like Bryan. LeLe looked down at her watch, "We should go back huh?" She stood up and was about to walk away when Bryan pulled her back and hugged her tight. "Thank you....." She hugged him back, "You're welcome...I just want you to know that you can come talk to me about anything...I'll be here for you..." "you don't know how much it means to me to hear you say that..." bryan mumbled as he burrowed his faced into her neck. LeLe smiled holding him tight, "I think I might.....what do you say we go back?" Bryan nodded his head and took her hand holding it tight as they walked back. "Well there you are!! We were wondering where you two ran off to!!" Kian exclaimed as he spotted LeLe and Bryan coming. "yah! We were about to leave without you!!" Mark teased. "Just had a little heart-to-heart talk..." Bryan explained. "Sounds serious...." Nicky laughed. Bryan shrugged and LeLe gave his hand a tight squeeze, "It was guys...now leave Bry alone and I say let's get going...I still have a date to get ready for tonight.." LeLe grinned. "Oh right....all right then...gals and lads....in the car now!!" Nicky yelled as he jumped into the driver's seat. "Nicky darling...please don't yell..." Georgina said sleepily from the front. Mallory stared into the reflection of the window, in it she watched bryan and LeLe who were all the way back talking quietly to themselves. It was obvious to her now, she knew what was going on and what was going to happen. "Hey Mal! Cheer up!" Kian made a funny face. She laughed a little, "thanks...I needed that..." "What could be bothering you so much to make you frown?" "Oh it's nothing really...." "Are you sure Mal?? Cause I'm a really good listener!! And I can maybe help with the problem you have!" "What makes you think I have a problem?" "Well love, your face says it all....you can read it..." "ohh...well we can talk about this later...if that's alright..." "Sure love...sure....when you're ready I'm here to listen and help as much as I can!!!" "Thanks....." Mallory sighed and stared out the window watching the county side roll by. She drifted away trying not to worry too much about LeLe. She's a big girl! She can take care of herself, she told herself. Yet she couldn't help but be concerned for the well-being of her friend. Shane sighed sadly as he glanced back at LeLe who had fallen asleep on a sleeping Byran's shoulder and who had his arm around her. "What's wrong Shay?" Mark asked. "Do you think there's a slight possibility Le likes me??" "I think she likes you a lot, why??" "Look..." Shane pointed towards the back. Mark looked and turned back, "oh.....well Shay....all I can say is if she's not spoken for you still have a chance. Her and Bry aren't seriously dating, she's only got one date with him, ask her out again." "Is that the right thing to do? I don't want to go after her if she feels something for Bryan." "She hasn't said anything about that right? So go for it, you never know, she may be liking you. Don't give up till she's spoken for. Bryan's got no claim on her, they're not boyfriend and girlfriend." "Are you sure? I don't want to hurt Bry either." "She's fair game, trust me on that Shay. If I were you I'd ask her out again and see what happens from there." "well...." Shane sighed, "okay....." "Good Lad....you need to go after what you want, it's the only way you'll get it..." "you're right...I'll ask her out tomorrow..." "That's the spirit mate!!!" Shane smiled but stared at LeLe and Bryan still unsure if it was the right thing to do. He liked her very much, he hadn't felt this way in a long time and wanted a chance with her. He hoped he would get one......but he also hoped no one would get hurt in the process.... |
