...ally...
I woke up the next moring, and opened my eyes. "God!" I said, out loud, realising how sore my head was, I felt really sick and ran into the bathroom. I finished throwing up, and splashed cold water on my face, I walked back into the bedroom. I had to look twice at the bed before I believed my eyes, Derek was lying there. Suddenly, everything from last night came back to me, and I ran to the bathroom again. I walked back in, to see Derek awake and stretching. "Morning." He grinned, sitting up. "Look, Derek, about last night...." I said, sitting down on the bed, "I think we both know it was a mistake." "No, it wasn't." "It was, dammit, Derek, we can't do this, we're not together anymore, it shouldn't have happened, ok?!" I yelled.
"Look, you could leave Bryan...I could leave my girlfriend....come on, don't tell me the thought has never crossed your mind." He said, coming up behind me, and putting his arms around my waist. "It hasn't, I'm with Bryan, end of story!" "You can't say that this doesn't feel right to you," he said, "weren't you happy last night, me, you and OUR son." I took his arms off my waist and stood up and walked to the door. "I think you should go, Derek." I said, quietly. "What?" "You heard. Just go. We don't have anything, ok?" "I'll just get ready, and say goodbye to Dylan." He said, quietly. "Think about what I said, ok?" I walked out of the door and downstairs, into the kitchen and got a bottle of water from the fridge and sat down at the table. I put my head on the table and started to cry a little. Next thing I knew, Derek was stood at the kitchen door with Dylan in his arms.
"Ally?" He said, I looked up. "I think we should talk,." He paused, "about us." "Derek" I sighed, taking the lid off the bottle "there is no us." "So, what now?" He sat down beside me, still holding Dylan. "Bryan can't find out, ever!" I cried, "I can't believe I did this to him, after all he's done for us." "Yeah," Derek nodded and agreed, " it'd be rough on this little guy if you guys split." "So, I can trust you not to mention it." "Yeah, hey, you're forgetting I have a girlfriend too." He laughed, then turned serious. "I won't say anything, what happened last night, it stays in these four walls." "Thanks," I said quietly, " I appreciate it."
"So, what are you going to do?" "What I should've done, I'm going to take Dylan, and join Bryan on this tour." "Yeah, keep an eye on Dylan, he's still a bit warm." "I know, Derek, geez, it's a bit late to play Daddy now! Don't you think?!" I said, " sorry, that wasn't right." "Well, he is my son, I worry about him, ok?" "What, you don't trust me too look after him now?!" I yelled. "Of course I do, I just worry, ok?" He cried, standing up. "Have fun on the tour." He handed Dylan back. "Thanks, we will." I said, as he walked out to the front door.
...ronan...
I was sitting in my office, looking over the schedules for the guys to do when they got home from the promo tour. I was going to sort out the schedules, and then fly out to Spain, to join them on their tour for the new single. Then there was a knock on the office door. "Come in!" I shouted, and put the papers down. Ally walked in, "hey Ally." I said. "Hey Ro." She sighed. I pointed to a chair in front of me, and she sat down. "What can I do for you?" I asked her, she stared at the ceiling, she never answered so, I asked her again. "Oh! Sorry. Umm, would I still be able to join Bryan on this tour? I know I said I didn't want to, but well, I changed my mind." She said.
This was something I never expected, I knew they had been having problems and had agreed that time apart would be good, personally I disagreed, if you have problems, you need to talk, in my opinion. But, I knew also, that things had picked up on the last day, so maybe this was a good idea, a sign that they were missing each other. "Yeah, of course you can. You can fly out with me tomorrow." I said, and looked at the schedules, "I'll arrange your flight," I noticed that Ally didn't have Dylan with her, "Dylan too?" I asked. "Yeah." She answered, seeming distracted. "He, he misses Bryan." "Oh," I said, she seemed like she was on a different planet, "is everything ok?" "Yeah," she sighed, unconvincingly.
"Actually, no, everything's not ok, I made the biggest mistake...." She buried her head in her hands. "It can't be that bad, come on tell me what happened." I said quietly and put my arm around her shoulder. "God, you really don't wanna know. Bry's gonna hate me, if he ever finds out." "I'm not going to tell him, now tell me." "Last night, Derek came over, to see Dylan, and...." She didn't continue. "Ally, tell me you never." I started, and she nodded her head. "Ok. are you guys having an affair?" "NO! It was one night, we were both drunk, that's all! Derek asked me to leave Bryan," she paused, "I can't, I love him, not Derek." I smiled, "I know. Leave this up to me, the flight goes late tomorrow night, so I'll call you tomorrow, that'll give you time to get all packed up." "Thanks Ro." She stood up to leave. "Anytime." I said, and she walked out of the office.
I decided to call Lou in Spain to let him know that they would be joining us, but not to tell Bryan as I thought it would be a nice surprise for him. I dialled the number and after a few rings, Lou answered. "Louis Walsh!" He sounded angry. "Hey, it's me." "Ro! What's wrong?" "Nothing, what's wrong at your end?" "Bryan! Couldn't Ally have come out here to keep an eye on him? Honestly, he better calm down! Last night, he was drunk, out of control,.." "Oh?" I asked, worried. " that's why I'm calling, she's flying out tomorrow. But don't tell Bry." "Good job you told me in advance, if she's came here last night, she'd have caught him." He sighed. "Caught him?" "In bed, with some girl he picked up..." Lou sighed. "He never." I cried. "Yup." "Oh right, well, keep him out of trouble tonight. I don't want to see those two breaking up, not now." I said, because there was a child to worry about in all this too. "Yeah, I guess not. I'll see you tomorrow when you get here." "Yeah, see you later Lou." I said, and hung up. 'Well, Bry isn't so perfect either.' I thought to myself, maybe they could survive something like this. I stood up, and walked out of the office to try and arrange the flight arrangements for tomorrow.

Chapter 35
...bryan...
"I don't see why I had to come to the airport to get Ronan as well." I mumbled to Shane as we drove along the road to the airport. It was 11 o clock at night and I had wanted to try and call Ally again, I had been trying all day, with no luck. I think I was feeling guilty because of what I had did on the first night of the tour. "Well, I didn't want to drive here alone." Shane answered, and turned down the radio. "You're still annoyed at me because of that girl, aren't you?" I asked him. "It's your life, Bryan. But if I had a girl and kid at home, I wouldn't have done it." He said. "Shane, you know I wouldn't normally do that, but with the drink, and me and Ally have been having problems...." I trailed off. "Yeah, I know mate." Shane said, "I'm not going to lecture you about it." "Thanks." I said, because Lou had been lecturing me non stop.
We pulled into the airport car park. "Come on Bry, cheer up!" Shane said, getting out of the car, and locking the door. "I'm happy." I mumbled sarcastically, wondering why he seemed so happy, it seemed as though he wasn't telling me something. We walked in and were surprised to see no fans around, which was strange for us. "Ok, Gate 3C," Shane said, checking the screens for the flight from Dublin. "Come on Bry!" "Right! I'm following ya!" I walked behind him and sat in the arrivals couch. I checked around for a phone, but couldn't see any. I looked over towards the gate and saw Ronan walk through with 3 massive suitcases on a trolley.
"Hell, Ro! Have you packed enough?" I asked him, laughing. He laughed too, and pointed to the smallest case. "That's mine." He laughed. Just then a familiar scream was heard. "No, it can't be." I whispered to myself, it had sounded like Dylan, but he was at home, wasn't he? I watched as he ran up behind Ro and stopped, and looked around. "Dylan!" I called to him and he ran over. " Hey little guy!" I picked him up. "Dadda!" He cried, and grabbed my fringe, quite tightly. "Hey!" I heard Ally cry as she walked towards me and gave me a big hug. She let go and I let Shane take Dylan. I gave Ally another hug, and looked at her. She was crying a little.
"Hey? Why are you crying?" I asked her, she looked at Ronan, who was still standing with the trolley. He just smiled at her. "I guess I'm just tired, it's been a long day." She said, and put her arm around my waist and leaned her head on my shoulder. I looked back at Shane to see if Dylan was ok, but he was already sleeping, so I decided just to leave them the way they were. "Ok, back to the car then?" Ronan suggested, and we all agreed. We all got in, and Ro sat in the front with Shane while Ally, Dylan and me sat in the back. By the time we got back to the hotel, Ally was sleeping. "I'll help Ro with the bags, then I'll come back down and take Dylan upstairs for you." Shane said quietly getting out of the car, and disappearing with Ronan. I sat in the car and looked at Ally and Dylan both asleep and felt so guilty for cheating. "Sorry" I whispered, not waking them.
Just then Shane appeared and opened the car door. "I just thought, you've only got a single bed in your room, haven't you Bry?" "God, yeah..." I said. "Well, I think you and Ally could sleep there, but what about him?" He whispered and pointed to Dylan. "It's kinda late to try and get a room shift now..." I trailed off. "Look, receptions closed anyway , how bout if I take Dylan in with me tonight, ok? You two look as though you both need some sleep." He said, and took him out of the car. "Yeah, that'd be great Shane, thanks." I whispered, "I'll get Ally upstairs." "Ally?" I whispered and nudged her, "We're at the hotel, come on." She opened her eyes, and sat up, then smiled at me. "Sorry, I must have been more tired than I thought." She got out of the car, sleepily and we walked to the elevator. We got to our room when she looked around.
"Where's Dylan?" "Shane's got him ,he said he'll keep him tonight." I explained, as she sat down on the bed. "Ok," she got up and walked to the bathroom, and changed into a T-shirt she had in her bag, and climbed into bed. "Take his bag down, he'll need it.." "Ok" I grabbed the bag that had nappies, pyjamas, and a blanket, and a bottle in it. "I'll be back in a minute." I said, and tip toed out. I walked down the hall to Shane's room and knocked on the door quietly. After a few seconds, Shane answered the door. "I thought you'd need this, some of his stuff." I said and handed him the bag. "Oh, thanks. You wanna check on him?" I nodded and walked in. He was sleeping quietly on top of the bed, still holding his old teddy that went everywhere with him.
Shane took his blanket out and put it over Dylan. "I think you can handle him now." I laughed, and went to walk out, " thanks mate." "No problem, see you in the morning." I walked back to my room, wondering if Ally would still be awake, but she was sleeping. I got into bed and was almost asleep, when I heard Ally say something in her sleep. "Sorry Bryan," she muttered, "sorry." 'Sorry, what was she sorry for? Maybe she would mention it as she slept...'
