| The lads were getting ready to go out on stage. "Angel!" Kian called her over. "Yeah, what is it?" she asked. "Go out and find Georgina. You got seats next to each other, front row." he said. She raised one eyebrow, she had always just watched the from backstage, but now he wanted her to sit out in the audience. "Does this have anything to do with your surprise?" she asked. He nodded and smiled at her. "Just, please, do as I say." "Okay, I'll go out and sit down." she said, and he kissed her. "I can't wait to give it to you later." he whispered in her ear, before she walked out to find Georgina. She found her outside the backstage entrance, talking to Anto. "Oh, there you are!" she said when she saw Angelica coming. Anto smiled at her. "Enjoy the concert, Angelica!" he said, and went in. "Oh! I'm so curious, I'm about to burst!" she said. Georgina laughed, and took her arm. "Come on, let's go find our seats. Nicky told me they are the best in the house." And they were, middle front row. "This is great! A nice change from watching them from backstage." Angelica said. Georgina sat there with a big grin on her face, looking at her. "You look really nice tonight Angelica." she said. Angelica looked down on her blue dress. "Thank you." she said as the lights faded out, and the host came out on stage. He told them what was going to happen during the concert, and also announced the Westlife had quite a special performance tonight. Angelica looked at Georgina. "He knows too?" she whispered. She nodded in return. "Sure he does!" she smiled. The lads were on last, and when they finally entered the stage Angelica was about to burst with curiosity. "I guess you've already been told that we're having a very special performance tonight," Shane said, and smiled at Angelica sitting on the front row. "We're going to start off with 'My Love'." he announced, and they started singing. Then they sang 'What Makes A Man.' "Now, ladies and gentlemen, this next song is called 'Puzzle Of My Heart.' And I'd like to dedicate it to my beautiful girlfriend, who's here tonight. Happy birthday, Angelica!" Kian said and winked at her. She leaned over to Georgina, "Is this the surprise?" she asked. "No," Georgina shook her head and her smile grew even bigger. "Like a miracle she's meant to be, she became the light inside of me. And I can feel her like a memory from long���ago" Mark sang with a big smile. They all joined him for the final chorus, and Kian looked at her with big eyes as he sang the last line. "She's the puzzle of my heart�." Angelica sat in her chair with goosebumps covering her arms. This song was her favourite, she was so thrilled Kian had dedicated it to her and she thought that it was a very nice surprise. "Angelica, honey. Can you come up here?" Kian asked, and she looked surprised at Kian, then at Georgina. "Well, go on then!" Georgina said, and she slowly got up. She walked over to the stairs, and Kian took her hand and lead her to over to the centre-stage. "Angelica," he said as he took her hand, and knelt down on one knee before her. She looked at the other lads in disbelief, and they smiled back at her. "You mean everything to me, and I can't imagine a life without you. You're the puzzle of my heart, the one that makes my world complete. Angelica Dahl, will you do me the honour of being my wife? Will you marry me?" Kian looked at her with his blue eyes, and slipped a ring on her finger. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she smiled down at him. "Yes," she said. "Yes, I'll marry you Kian." The audience cheered, and when Kian got up and kissed her they gave them a standing ovation. Angelica hugged him, and she cried of happiness. "Surprise." he whispered, and she laughed. "I cannot believe this Kian. They were all right; I loved your surprise. Is this for real?" she asked. He nodded, "Yes, this is real." She looked down on Georgina, who smiled at her and applauded enthusiastically along with all the others in the concert hall. "Congratulations Angelica and Kian!" Shane said, and gave the both a hug, and Nicky, Bryan and Mark followed him. "Go maire t� is go gcuire Dia an t-�dh ort!" Mark said. "For those of you who don't speak Irish it meant; Congratulations, may you live long and best of luck to you!" he explained. Then they sang 'Puzzle Of My Heart' again before they left the stage to cheers and standing ovation. The wedding were set in late spring, the first weekend of June. The sun was shining, and it was just a perfect day. "Oh, I'm so nervous!" Angelica said, and turned her eyes away from the mirror out the window. The wedding was being held outside in Sligo, by a beautiful waterfall and lake, and the air smelled sweetly of blossoming apple trees. "I know, you should be nervous. I can't wait to see you go up that path." Georgina smiled at her reassuringly. "And I just want to thank you again for letting me be your bridesmaid." Angelica smiled and gave her a hug. "My pleasure. Oh God! The rings! Do you have them?" she asked her sister, Monica. "Yes, I have them right here. Relax Angelica, this is going to be the wedding of your dreams." Monica said. "I need help. Can anyone zip me up?" Lizzie looked at them. "I'll get it." Anne said laughing. Anne and Lizzie were Angelica's best friends from home, and they were bridesmaids too with Georgina and Monica. "Okay, I'm coming out now." Angelica called to them from the changing room. She opened the door, and with her long white dress she looked like an angel. "Oh�" the girls all sighed at the same time. "You look like an angel, a goddess. Kian's gonna die when he sees you!" "Really? I'm so nervous I don't even know where to go!" she laughed nervously at her reflection. "Well, I know where you're going to go. You're going down the aisle in a few minutes." Lizzie said. "Mark just told me that everyone is here, and they are ready." Angelica took a deep breath and gave them all a big hug. "Okay, let's do this then." she said, and took the flowers Anne handed to her. Georgina and Monica put her veil down, and then they walked out. Her father stood outside, and he gasped when he saw her. "You look so beautiful, darling." he said. She smiled and thanked him. Georgina and Nicky went first, then Bryan and Monica, Shane and Anne, followed by Lizzie and Mark last. The wedding march sounded over the speakers, and Kian turned to look at her as she walked down towards him. "Oh wow. She looks so beautiful." he whispered to Nicky. He nodded, "Yeah, she does. Good luck!" Angelica came up beside him, and he took her arm in his. She smiled at him, and the priest started. "Do you, Kian John Francis Egan, take Angelica Elizabeth Dahl to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish her, through good days and bad, through sickness and health till death do you part?" Kian stole a look at her through the corner of his eye, and smiled. "Yes, I do." he answered. The priest turned to Angelica. "Do you, Angelica Elizabeth Dahl, take Kian John Francis Egan to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and cherish him, through good days and bad, through sickness and health till death do you part?" She smiled behind her veil, "Yes, I do." she answered. "Then by the power vested in me, before God and these witnesses, I hereby declare you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride." Kian turned to Angelica, and lifted her veil. Her eyes were shining and she smiled happily at him. Then he kissed her. "I give you Mr. and Mrs. Egan!" the priest said, and they walked down the aisle together. As they passed their parents, they smiled at them, and their mothers both dried their eyes. After dinner, they got their suitcases and put them in the limousine. Everybody stood outside with them, wishing them good luck. Patricia came over to Angelica, and hugged her. "I knew Kian had the wits to marry you," she said. "You two have a nice time now, dear. Safe journey!" Angelica smiled and thanked her. "Thank you. We will, so don't worry." she laughed."Throw the bouquet Angelica!" Georgina shouted. She smiled, "Okay. Then all the unwed girls come over here." she said and turned her back to them. "Are you ready?" "Yes, go ahead!" they answered. She closed her eyes, and threw her bouquet over her shoulder. The girls laughed, and tried to catch it. "Congrats Georgina!" she heard, and turned to see Georgina holding the flowers up. "You're the next one out." teased Angelica, and winked at Nicky. "Come on Angel. We've got to go now." Kian said. She hugged them all, and they got into the car. "Bye! We'll miss you!" they called after them, and they waved them goodbye. Kian kissed her softly, "I love you so much, Mrs. Egan." "I love you too, Mr. Egan." she said, and they laughed. |
