| Kian sat in the phone with Nicole. �Serious this time?� He asked. He got sick of this now. Nicole had been on and off with Andr� the last six months and every time they broke up, she called Kian. He was bored of this, and felt that if it weren�t over for good this time, he wouldn�t be there for her next time. He told her: �Cause if it isn�t, then forget to call me next time it�s over.� �Off course I�m sure, what makes you think that I�m not?� �Maybe because you said so last time, and that time before that, and the time before that, and, oh, that time before that too.� �OK, I get the picture� but I don�t think we�ll get back together now, even if we do, why would we break up? Don�t answer that�� �Yeah, well. I guess I�ll haft to take your word for that�� �Well, I haft to go, but why don�t we meet tomorrow?� �Sure, where� �Hm, I would like to try the new caf� downtown.� �OK, meet you there round 3 O�clock?� �Sure. See ya.� �Right, see ya.� Kian had always had a little thing for her, but when he saw how it was between her and Andr�, he understood that he wouldn�t use his energy on something like that. But he just couldn�t say no to her� He sat by the caf�, and waited for her, and noticed a girl sitting by a table near the door. He sat by the window on the other side. Sometimes she looked up at him and smiled, he just smiled back. Just to be polite off course (yeah right�). He noticed Nicole coming. She also noticed the girl and it seemed like she knew her. �Hi, Zel. Why are you sitting here alone?� �I�m just waiting for Wild.� Did she mean the same Wild that was dating Shane? (Wild wasn�t really her name (duh), but it was Kimberly. She thought that Wild was a better fit, so she used that name, even if it wasn�t a real name) �Oh yeah, you two were such good friends at High School.� Probably, since Nicole and Wild had been rivals since High School, and it didn�t seem like Nicole and Zel were such good friends with phoney smiles and made voices. �We still are! I just came back from that trip to Canada.� �I thought you were going to be there for two years?� �It has been two years.� �Oh, I just guess that the time has gone too fast since you left the country�� that was the tone when she tried to insult someone. Zel raised her eyebrow and had a nasty look. �Yeah, I know. I really miss being in another country then you too. I also heard that you�ve just broken up with Andr� again. Too bad, you were after all the cutest couple in High School, or no, wait a minute, that was Ralph, no, Kenny, no, Kyle? Oh, damnit, I don�t remember, there�s so many to remember that you were with�� Nicole hated when someone reminded her of how many she were with the last year. Nicole just gave her a bitchy look and went over to Kian�s table. �Who was that?� he asked �Zeldie,� oh yeah, he had heard Wild talk about her. He should�ve understood that Zel was short for Zeldie. �A bitch from the old days, Wild�s best friend.� �Ok, just wondered.� �I�m sorry, but I met Andr� on the way, and he says he�s really sorry, and all that,� Kian rolled his eyes. �And I haft to go, cause we decided to meet each other tonight and I haft to get ready,� they both said. It was the same all the time, and he knew the riddle. �I�m glad you understand,� she said and left. He sat there and shook his head and said: �I never said I understand�� He looked over to Zeldie, and he decided to go over to her. �Hi, my name is Kian. You haft to be sorry about Nicole, she�s just�� �A bitch, yeah I know. I�m Zeldie,� she said and reached her hand to him and they shook hand. �You�re Shane�s friend?� He nodded. �You�ve probably heard of me?� �I think Wild�s mentioned your name a couple of times. Though I don�t really know anything about you except for what I heard of your little conversation with my friend.� �Oh, then you probably think that I�m a bitch�� �No, I don�t think so. She was the one who started it.� �Well, what your relation to Nicole?� �I have no idea� I think we�re friends, though right now I want to strangle her�� �Who doesn�t? What�s your reason?� �She just can�t seem to make up her mind� you know Andr�, yesterday, she rang me up crying, cause she was so upset of her break up with him. Now they�re back together again. It�s really annoying cause I tell her every time that if they get back together and break up again, she�s not calling me, but she doesn�t seem to get it�� �Maybe because you just say it. Next time just hang up or something, or else she wont understand.� �Yeah, you�re right.� They noticed that Wild came. �Hi, I see that you two have met.� She said. �Hi Wild,� he said. �I was just going, so I�ll just get outta here.� �OK. Bye Kian.� Wild said. �Bye,� Zeldie said, with a little Canadian accent. ***And then Kian went over to Shane�s place*** He didn�t exactly have anything else to do, plus he wondered if maybe Zeldie was there� He couldn�t stop thinking about her; he really wanted to get to know her better. Off course she wasn�t there, but mean while he asked Shane a little bit in case he knew something about her: �Y�know, I met Wild�s friend, Zeldie, at the new caf� today.� �Yeah, she and Wild was going to meet there. I thought you�d never met her?� �No, not until today.� �Then how did you know it was her?� �You see, I was there cause I was going to meet Nicole there,� Shane interrupted him: �While we�re on Nicole: is she with Andr� again?� �Guess� anyway, Zeldie was there, I didn�t know it was her before Nicole come, and they talked�� Shane interrupted him again; it was one of his bad habits� �I thought they hated each other?� �They do, I didn�t say it was a warm welcome! And when I asked Nicole who she was, she told me it was Zeldie. And, off course, Nic said she had to go, cause she and Andr� were together again, and after she�d gone I went up to Zeldie, and we talked for a second.� �Why were you so hung up on who she was and all that?� �Have you seen her?� A couple of times, on some pictures, and when Wild and I got together she still was here, before she went to Canada.� �Why did she go to Canada? And why two years?� �It was this guy she�d met that summer that was from Canada, it was quick over after the winter, but she went there because of a school that was so fabulous if you were going to educate to a Journalist.� �She�s a journalist?� �She got the education.� �So, is she free, then?� �I don�t exactly ask my girlfriend if her friend is available, but I haven�t heard anything, so I guess. Why are you so interested in that? Do you have some sort of crush on her?� �I don�t know� I don�t know her, but she�s just so beautiful, like you said about Wild: She�s just too fine to be forgotten.� �Did I say that?� ***Meanwhile, what was Wild and Zeldie chatting about?*** �So, Kian? What�s his deal?� Zeldie asked Wild. �What do you mean?� �It seemed to me like he was single�?� �Actually, he is too. Would almost think he�s waiting for Nic.� �What do you mean? He doesn�t have a crush on her, does he?� �Well, he used to like her, but he�s to bored of her deal with Andr�. But he still takes care of her after a break-up.� �So he�s not worth the try?� �Seriously, you should talk with Shane about that, I don�t know what is going on between Kian and Nic, but if you ask me, you�d know if he�s interested. He�s not that good to hide it when he�s in love�� �Well, it would be a total waist if he�s in love with Nic�� �You got that right�� ***When Wild got home to Shane, she started to ask a little*** �Shane, is Kian still hung up on Nic?� Shane raised an eyebrow to her. �Why do you wanna know?� �Well, it�s Zel that�s wondering, kinda.
