Jenny watched numbly as Kian drove off in his car, she didnt have the strength to stop him even though she knew he shouldnt be driving.  She turned around and started the long walk back to her hotel. She felt a bit vulnerable walking all that way through the back streets of Sydney in the dark. Tears fell down her face as the cold night wind blew against her. Her mind was in a mess trying to figure out what just happened. All she knew was shed hurt Mark, and didnt know how to get him back.
Just then a car pulled up beside her, it was her best buddy Christy. Hi Sweetie! she called out the window. Hi Jenny said startled. Jenny, what on earth is wrong, you shouldnt be out on your own at this hour!! Jenny smiled, thank goodness Christy had found her. Jenny told Christy the whole story. When they got back to the hotel Christy demanded Jenny call Mark. Jenny tried his mobile number, it was turned off. Just then the phone rang, Jenny answered, it was Shane. Jenny, what the hell have you done to Mark? And wheres Kian?? Shane demanded sounding pretty upset.
Shane, I dont know where Kian is, can I talk to Mark? Jenny asked. Dont play dumb with me! Mark has told me you and Kian are seeing each other, how could you do this to Mark, he adored you. Shane said angrily.
Shane, all I know is Kian is out there driving a car and he has been drinking; hes not with me, and I really need to talk to Mark, please is he there? Jenny pleaded.
He doesnt want to talk to you, I think you should just forget it, hes pretty cut up over this while thing. So Id prefer it if you just left him alone and with that he hung up.
Jenny stood there holding the phone, Shane was sounding more like Marks parents than his friend. She realised that Mark would never know the truth unless Kian told him, and that wasnt likely to happen. She decided to go to bed, and try and forget about the whole thing. But she couldnt forget the look of hurt on Marks face, she couldnt sleep.
The next morning Jenny woke up hoping it was all just a horrible dream. The phone rang and Jenny rushed to answer it hoping desperately it was Mark. It was for Christy.
Jenny slumped on the couch with the cold realization that Mark wasnt going to call, and Kian wasnt going to tell him the truth. Jenny went on with her life, fooling herselftelling herself not to care. Until she was back at home and saw Westlife on TV at the airport leaving for the UK. Jennys sister said Hey, dont you like their music? It all sounds the same to me! Huh Boybands, I hate em
Jenny burst into tears, much to her sisters amazement, just then the phone rang. It was Christy. Hey Jenny, Im at the airport trying to track Mark down for ya, come now, they leave in 45 minutes
Christy!! Are you crazy?! Mark hates my guts! Dont be so stupid! Jenny blurted out.
Jenny just make sure you get your butt down here in 45 minutes or Ill personally kill you!! ok?!
Jenny decided to go, just for the hell of it, what did she have to lose after all. When she got there there were so many people, she could hardly get into the doors for the crowds. She pushed through the crowd but didnt see any sign of Westlife.
Just then she sensed someone looking at her from the side, it was Mark, he was sitting at a table writing out some autographs. Jenny turned around and met his gaze, he looked sad, then he looked away.
I knew this was a bad idea Jenny said under her breath, and she turned to walk out of the door and out of Marks life, she realized there was no room for her in his life anyway. How could I be so stupid!! she didnt realise she was talking out loud. Thats the last thing I would say you were Jenny turned around startled someone had answered her thoughts! It was Mark, he grabbed her and kissed her passionately, Jenny heard cameras clicking and people whispering about her, but she didnt care. It was as if Mark and her were the only people there amongst all the noise and commotion.
Jenny felt as if the kiss lasted for an eternity, and didnt want to let go of Mark ever again. Mark slipped a letter into Jennys hand, and the crowd seemed to separate them and Marks hand slipped out of hers. The crowd had now dispersed to follow Mark to the boarding gate.
Jenny walked back to her car, feeling as though she was walking on air, yet with sadness that she probably would never see Mark again. Then she remembered the letter. It read:

Jenny,

In the short time Ive known you, youve changed my life. I realized I couldnt live without you. I wrote this letter and then realized I didnt have anywhere to post it. I hoped in vain you would come back to see me one more time. If you did youll be reading this, if not it will always be in my pocket ready to give to you.
Im so sorry to have thought the worst of you, Kian told me the truth, and even it he hadnt I had no right to blame you for anything.
Please find it in your heart to forgive me, I never wanted to lose you.
Mark

Attached to the letter was his mobile number, Jenny held the letter to her and never let it go. The next morning Jenny woke up to her parents and sister talking really loud. What the hell is this? she heard her father yell. Oh no! Jenny remembered the photos being taken of her & Mark. Ive made the front page!! she giggled, but had the suspicion she may be grounded.
