| Part 26 (bryan) I sat up in the bed, my head and throat hurt like hell. I felt so guilty too, putting people who cared for me through this. I was sitting thinking about things. Nicky, Shane and Mark had been in to see me, but had gone home now. Shane was going to stop off at Ronan's on the way home to let him know, because we would need to cancel appearances for the next few weeks. I think that Ronan and Louis will be pretty mad at me. There was a quiet knock at the door. Kian came in. "Hey there." He said, quietly, but happy. "How are you feeling now?" "Ok, considering. Can't do anything right, can I ?" I laughed a little. "I'm sorry, for, you know." "The things you'll do for a week off work." He laughed too. "So, what did the doc say?" "He thinks I'll be ok. Probably be home in a week or so. Wants me to get help." "Yeah, well, did you explain what had happened today? Pretty big news Bry. I don't blame you, I just can't believe that you would go so far." "I know. Did anyone call my parents yet?" I asked, nervously. They would be so disappointed in me. More disappointed to find out the truth about Jess. In the 5 years since she had been born, no one had mentioned it. Only Shane and Ronan had even known there was a chance she wasn't mine. "Umm, yeah, I think Nicky was going to call when he got home." "Where's Robyn?" "I sent her home to sleep, she looked pretty tired." A grin spread across my face, then Kian's too. "Congrats by the way." "Thanks. If she would've told me this morning, I wouldn't have done this." "She didn't find out until today, when she fainted." Kian explained. I went to ask him if she was ok "She's fine, don't worry. Just you worry about yourself, ok?" I nodded. "I better go, let you sleep, you'll need it for Louis tomorrow." I grimaced, Louis. "Yeah, thanks Ki. I'll see you later." And he walked out. |
