oh dear, christmas again

eeyore and i have a lot in common.

i have my moments when i can outglum even the little donkey, especially during the holidays. for some reason, i have managed to avoid it this season. maybe it is because i am too busy to worry about much of anything. or maybe it is because i have completely reconciled myself to not baking ten kinds of cookies and not sending out homemade christmas cards and not making it to every party on my calendar.

whatever the cause, i have been blissfully happy for the past few weeks.

as a reward, gene bought me the christmas eeyore. if i feel the holiday blues creeping up on me, i am to lay under the tree, look up at the lights and eeyore hanging there, celebrating the season in his own special way.

i don't think i am going to need the tree therapy but it's nice to know it's there.
