my first pair of clunky black shoes.

italian, i bought them in germany and wore them constantly. it was years before it was fashionable to wear them with dresses but that didn't stop me from being my own fashion forerunner.

i only stopped wearing them when the splits through the bottom kept my feet in a constant state of wet. i like wet feet when barefoot but prefer them dry when shod.
