a small break in the action

i shall be incommunicado for a few days.

a small family emergency has arisen and i will be busy handling a myriad of details, not to mention a bevy of phonecalls. not to worry--nothing life threatening--just time consuming and it will require me to be away from home, and therefore the computer, for a few days.
