Guidelines for Abstract Submissions:
1.
Abstract should not exceed 1
page double-spaced
2.
Each submission should include
on a separate title page, the title of the submission, the author's name,
address, telephone number, e-mail address and any other information
3.
Abstract Title should be no
more than 15 words (with only the first letter of each word capitalized).
4. Name of the presenting author should be underlined.
5. All abstracts have a 300 word limit of text
6. To assist such students, the Conference Committee has outlined the following guidelines for developing an abstract:
a. Background: A statement of the hypothesis or research question.
b. Methods: An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
c. Results: A concise summary of the major findings of the research. Sufficient information must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading the abstracts. Statements such as "additional information to be presented at the meeting" are not acceptable.
d. Conclusion: Summary of the overall findings.
7.
Acceptance of the abstract in
the Conference and assignment to a presentation session are determined solely
by the Conference Committee based on a review of the abstract and its subject
matter. Decisions of the Conference Committee are final. By submitting an
abstract the author(s) agree to allow publication of information on the CLAIHR
website and the agenda package which will be distributed to all participants.

8. Instructions will be sent to the authors whose abstracts are accepted for the Conference presentation.
9. CLAIHR uses Microsoft Word. Please submit your abstract in a compatible format.
10. Abstracts must be emailed to [email protected].
Abstracts will not be accepted by fax, by e-mail, or on computer disks
11. Abstract submission deadline is November 18, 2005. Authors are
encouraged to submit their abstracts as early as possible.
