I.
Thou shalt
NOT spray thine hairspray where others might have to breathe
it.
II. Thou shalt not rejoice in thy victory
exceedingly. Neither shalt thou blame thy losses on judges, dancers,
teachers, etc.
III. Thou shalt keep always a positive outlook,
that thou might impart it unto others.
IV. Thou shalt not be not unsatisfied with
any medal or placing, lest thou spoil another's happiness. Others
might have placed beneath thee and might be glad; therefore,
rejoice in thy victory, no matter how small
V. If thou wouldst change in public, thou
shalt do it decently. Thou shalt keep in mind that not all would
see thine kickpants and sports bra gladly.
VI. If thou hast occasion to see posted results
before thy fellow competitor, thou shalt not tell thy fellow
competitor how he or she hath placed.
VII.
If thou kickest
thy fellow dancer, thou shalt apologize exceedingly. If thy fellow
dancer kickest thee, thou shalt turn the other cheek (or at least
thou shalt accept the apologies graciously).
VIII. Thou shalt remember always that thy behavior
is a reflection on thy school. Thou shalt not act in a way so
as to dishonor thy instructor.
IX.
Thou shalt
cheer for and be kind unto the dancers that compete beneath thee,
remembering that thou too were once a beginner.
X. Thou shalt be polite to the feis staff,
and to thy fellow dancers, and their parents, and the teachers,
etc. |
