Langauage Arts: PURPLE GROUP: The purple group continues to work very hard on their Little Miss and Mr Books. They have all completed their planning and rough drafts and some have even finished their final copies. Although it seems like a very long process, it is worth it! Be sure to check back to find out when the Read Aloud will take place. In addition, they were just assigned a new novel, Number the Stars. They have had vocabulary and comprehension questions with each chapter. It is a wonderful book, if you haven't already, make sure you ask your student about it! |

MATH: In Math, the two groups are working on different things.
BISSLI: Bissli has finished the first half of the fractions unit. They have learned how to figure out the part of a whole, how to compare fractions, how to add and subtract fractions, how to change a mixed number to an improper fraction and an improper fraction to a mixed number....WOW, that is a lot! There is a MATH TEST on THURSDAY, APRIL 10th!
BAMBA: Bamba has been working hard in the 5th grade program. They have finished the first 2 chapters and even had the chapter test.....THEY DID GREAT.....we even had a perfect score of 100%!!! We will now start chapter 3 - lets see how far we can get before the year ends! |
