Minutes for February 28th, 2002

Members in attendance: Andrew Harris, Rachel Manley, Brian Wolters, Robert Luo, Greg James

Visitors: Nick Pedone

Excused Members: Kris Grimes, Krista Koller

 

  1. Talked about the schedule of events.  Approved the schedule.
  2. Talked about the speakers coming and plans for the wall of shame.
  3. Decided not to do a mass mailing of schedule.  Will make posters up for individual events and hang them up.
  4. List of volunteers to hang up posters: Rachel (Masters and Teel, Tuesdays), Robert Luo (Science Hall), Brian Wolters (Crowell), Nicolas Pedone (Smith Hall), Mike Rapino (Alummni).
  5. Talked about Planned Parenthood coming on March 5th, 2002 at 7:oo PM.
  6. Talked about the need for posters for that event.
  7. Decided that Planned Parenthood could talk about N.O.W. since the event was not officially sponsored by the CL-Albright.
  8. Talked about the budget.
  9. Decided to make a banner making committee.  Volunteers for the banner making committee: Rob, Andrew, Nick, and Mike.
  10.   Proposed Constitutional Amendment (Article 8, Amendment 1). 
  11. Constitutional Amendment was passed unanimously
  12. Motion was made to remove Kenyatta of her duties as secretary under the new amendment.  Motion made by Mike.  Seconded by Andrew.
  13.  Mike stated the reason for motion as Kenyatta has only shown up for one meeting all year.
  14.  Five out of six vote for the removal of Kenyatta of her duties.
