Possible Activities for Spring

  1. Campus survey – give people political quiz to see if they are libertarians
  2. Invite speakers to come on campus – one way of spreading our message and learning
  3. Discussion groups—discuss political issues or libertarian books or videos
  4. Campaign-- for local Libertarian candidate
  5. Voter Registration drive—might help get more people registered as libertarians
  6. Literature table
  7. Forums- sort of like a symposium. Campus wide discussion or debate on an issue
  8. Campus Libertarian Newspaper—could start working on starting a Libertarian newspaper
  9. Get ads in and on TV, radio, and newspapers
  10. Editorial parties—mass writing of editorials to local papers
  11. Create a web page—could get the page linked to the school web site. Another way to spread the message and archive documents and dispense club information to members
  12. Mock debates—debate issues amongst each other
  13. Try and form a group at Alvernia, RACC, and or PSU-Berks
  14. Operation politically homeless—sort of like the campus survey
  15. Social gatherings— gather as a group with intent other then education or politics
  16. Set up newsletter – less ambitious then newspaper
  17. Start to establish a library—raise money to get Libertarian books for members to read
  18. Co-sponsor events with other campus groups
  19. Create our own T-shirts—publicity and group unity
  20. Create or buy banner—makes group look more professional
  21. Would we like to distribute a Libertarian magazine called Free- its free but will people read it
  22. Do volunteer work—I’ll have to explain in person
