Wind Drift Acres is a 45 acre "hobby farm". Our farm is located 2 miles from the Lake Michigan shoreline. Aproximately 30 minutes north of Muskegon, and 30 minutes south of Ludington. We take pride in raising our AMHR and WCMHR minis with tender loving care. We are fairly new to Miniature horses. Due to my recent accident I can no longer ride "big" horses. This is what brought us to the "American Miniature Horse". There are no regrets! We love our minis!
Wind Drift Acres is all about breeding for quality not quantity. We do plan on having foals from time to time, but at present, we do not have any. I hope to breed my 11 year old mare Honey late this spring, or early summer, so she would foal sometime in May to June 2009.
Our miniature horses are wonderful, they love attention and are very smart. Once trained, they will do just about anything you want them to do. Miniature horses can be very therapeutic, fun loving pets, and talk about personality plus! If you are afraid of big horses, then a miniature horse is for you. These little critters can give you a world of joy! Come and see for yourself!
