C.K.Saxena obtained B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur in 1987, and M.E. in Irrigation Water Management from Rajasthan Agricultural University, Campus Udaipur in 1991. The title of his M.E. thesis is ?Studies and evaluation of the use of plastics in horizontal centrifugal pumping system?. He joined as Senior Technical Assistant at College of Technology and Agricultural Engineering, Udaipur in 1989 and worked at various places like Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Jalore in Rajasthan. He worked as Junior Scientist (Soil Water Conservation Engineering) at Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar between 1993-2001. Presently Mr.Saxena is working in Indian Council of Agriculture Research, as a Senior Scientist, and posted at Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Nabi Bagh, Bhopal since 2009. Prior to this he was posted at CSSRI, Karnal. During last 24 years Mr.Saxena has remained actively engaged dealing with the field problems in the field of and Irrigation, Drainage and Soil Water Conservation Engineering. He has more than 24 research papers in journals, proceedings or book chapters etc. He has also been awarded the visiting fellowship of Scientific and Engineering Research Council of the Department of Science and Technology, GoI, New Delhi.
