Getting Started
All you need to start are some good ideas and a title! Once
you decide to make and dedicate time to a babyz site then
you need to pick what server you'd like. These include but
not limited to, Geocities (what I use :o))Homestead,
Angelfire, and AOL. If you just beginning then I would
suggest you use pagebuilders at Geocities and Homestead
which no HTML experience is needed. If you would like to
learn HTML there are many books, but where I learned is
lissaexplains.com!
Graphics
Once you've picked a name and know what host you are using
then you need to start thinking graphics! Some babyz sites
give out free graphics all ready made and sets that come
with a button, divider, and background in a theme. There are
also professional free graphic sites or you can just make
your own! What I use is Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Photo Shop.
Advertising
Once you have finished making your site get ready to spread
the word :o)! This is where a banner for your site that
comes in handy. Some ideas to try are free-4-all links,
emailing site owners (read FAQ's though because some owners hate
people who do this), apply for SOTW's, awards, and other
link pages people have.
