This was a letter written by one of the Dole Intermediate teachers:

Dear Band Director and students,
I wanted to let you all know how "impressed" I was with your music. My classroom is across of the cafeteria
and I thoroughly enjoyed listening in on your performance. Thank you for sharing your talents.
I was a band student during my Intermediate and High School days and have been here at Dole
for 9 years. I was "blown away!" by your musical talent. I know it takes a lot of hard work
and practice.
Just wanted to share that with you. Keep up the great music and hope you have a
successful best of the school year with your studies.
