This is the Power of Three symbol. Most of you will recognize it from the hit WB series, "CHARMED". This symbol means protection from negative forces. It also has been used to make the 3 fold law happen more quicker. --'whatever you send out, comes back to you 3 fold'--.The famous phrase that is associated with it is 'The power of three shall set you free, so mote it be'.

This is the Wiccan/Pagan Pentagram. These pictures are of Celtic origins. Nethertheless, all pentagrams have the same basic pattern-an upright 5 pointed star surrounded by a circle. Each point having a meaning. Going counterclockwise-Earth, Fire, Air, Water, and sur-mounted by Spirit. Through all 5, Properity, good luck, love, and most of all positive magick flows. The center of the symbol is to be believed that it is the source of all magick of the universe. Some will disagree to that remark since the true meaning has been stretch and twisted since the Burning Times. This symbol is the most sacred of Wicca. Some newbies and others people consider the it be called "a pentacle". The Pentagram is 3 dimestional(necklace), while the Pentacle is only 2 demestional(a drawing). An inverted (upside down) Pentacle/Pentagram is used by Satanic Worshipers and NOT ASSOCIATED with any form of witchcraft. Like Chirstianity, they took their holy cross and inverted it, just like they took our holy Pentagram. Damn Satanic idiots!
This symbol is of the Goddess and her trinity asspect of the moon phases--maiden, mother, crone. The moon is always assoiciated with the Goddess, including love, and Fertility, and wisdom. The most interesting of Wiccan beliefs inconjuction to modern science is the complete cycle of the moon (28 days) vs. the complete menstral cycle of a woman (28 days). The full moon, called Mother Moon to many, is the moon of Fertility. It is not coinsidence that Mother moon is on the 13th day of the 28 day cycle and a woman's complete ovulation (optimum fertile time) is on the 13th day as well. Most pagan familys will wait till the full moon to mate. This is one of many reasons why the Goddess holds such a loving heavenly body.

This symbol is of The Horned God which symbolizes the sun. The sun reprsents love, growth, knowlegde, and rebirth. The Hornded God is in no way related to Christianity's "Satan". During the Burning Times, early christian monks, in attempt to convert pagans to Chirstianity, made their horned god into "Satan". Before the Burning times, Christianity never depicted Satan with the image of the Horned God. He was simpling a snake in the Book Of Genesis and a "horrible beast" in Revalations. The Horned One is depicted as a man with a bushy beard, pointed ears, 2 very small horns on his upper-forehead, and sometimes with a quiver of arrows on his back. The Greek god Pan is the best way to describe the Horned God.
The Pentagram, Goddess, and Horned God symbols have been seen on cave-paintings carbon dating back to 10,000 BC. Not only the paintings have been found in the UK, but similar paintings and representations are also in Italy, Spain, Germany, Central and Northern Africa, Mongolia, China, and parts of Central and South America(the old Aztec and Mayan Civilizations). Becuase of these historic findings, the Old Religion/Paganism is the oldest religion in recorded history, predating Christianity and Islam by over 9,000 years.
