Installing Bed Liner in the Cargo area..
OK, so here was the deal. This is a 94 XJ, and like a lot of you I beat the back of my Jeep up. So after the beating, and the spilling, I decided to get that old musty smelling rug out there and throw a few layers of bedliner down... I am sure there aree some that have done this already, but I thought I would do a write up for someone who was thinking about it... |

| Step 1. I used a razor knife to cute the base of the cargo area carpet out. After doing so, you should have your base panel, with your factory color showing. Using a angle grinder with a wire wheel I went ahead and roughed up and even took a lot of the paint off of it, leaving a bare exposed surface. It should look something like this without the rust (took me four months to finish due to the temperature). |

The one thing I noticed about the floor of the jeep is that it is not very thick. You may want to tack a thiucker piece of steel down to increase the payload... But keep in mind, it is a Jeep...lol |
