My Modified Stock Exhaust

Okay. Maybe I fell and smacked my head on this one, but for free it's definately worth it. Basically all I did to my stocker was go apeshit with a drill and a file, creating a nice 1 1/2" hole right before the intermediate pipe enters the muffler. Why did I do this?? First of the stock exhaust is a piece of shit. It sounds like shit and flows like shit. End of story. With the new "hole", the exhaust tone is a lot nicer and it definately flows more now. I can feel an increase in power and the sound turns lots of heads. The tone isn't overpowering by any means, just louder! So why didn't I just weld in a cut-out? Well I do have one sitting upstairs but do not have access to any welding exquipment sufficient for exhaust jobs. Why should I spend the $60 to have the cutout welded in? Yes I checked everywhere. The shops around here want $60 for a full hour on a 15 minute job. Don't worry though. The Corsa will be here within a few weeks so my "Red Neck" exhaust will have to do.
