| Saturday afternoon I made a run up Bill Moore Lake. This trail is rated a six for a couple of very steep sections near the top with some deep moguls and lots of loose rock and dirt. Again lower gears and a locker would have made it significantly easier. It took me four tries to get up the worst section. I was spinning tires and bouncing around like crazy. By the time I was through I had forgotten to have my friend David get out to take pictures. We got up to the lake at the top and ate a late lunch. I was bound and determined to get some pics on the way down, but when we got back down to the difficult section there were vehicles behind us coming down and some coming up too. I had to get through that section as quickly as possible and David couldn't really get much as far as pictures. I was really disappointed, so I waited for everyone to go by and then I ran that section again. It only took two tries the second go round. Probably due to both being somewhat familiar with the best line and the fact that David was not in the Kia that time. So I got that film in to be developed, but only one roll will be ready today. The rest should be available later in the week. I will post them at that time. |
