We are getting ready for CJ's third major open-heart operation. CJ will have the "Fontan" on July 6, 2004. We have been down this road before, but it never gets any easier.
We have 100% confidence in CJ's medical staff. The staff at Primary Children's Medical Center are undescribable. But, if I used a few words I would say; awesome, caring compassionate, skilled, incredible, loving, friendly, helpful and they ARE MIRACLE WORKERS!
Today is July 1, 2004 CJ was going in for a cath to get his heart ready and they inserted a Stint in his heart and coiled off useless parts of the heart. We sure hope that CJ will stay strong enough for his open-heart operation in 5 days.
Today is August 8, 2004. CJ had a very successful Fontan open-heart operations. He is home and is now 3 and oh what a party that we had for his 3rd birthday. ABC 4 news came and crashed the party. Click on CJ's home page and click on the ABC 4 news link to watch the video.
We are so grateful for all of the help that our community has given to us. When you look at CJ and our three year battle I hope that you realize that miracle are all around us. Prayers are answered and that God loves us so much.
