Acrostic poem due by 17th.  Must be completed on word processor.
Examples with grading expectations were distributed on Thursday.

Reading:
We Read "The Gold Coin":  PP. 140-163.
Complete workbook page 40 for a grade.  Due 2/11.

Science:
Quiz online at www.quizlab.com.  Deadline:  2/17.  Check your
child's papers for information on how to login using their
user name and password.  The quiz covers textbook pages 6-11.

Mister Pitrolo in meetings all day today.

My apologies for not keeping this page current lately.
Between 2 hour delays, snow days, multitudes of students
being absent due to the flu epidemic, and other factors,
the schedule at school has been in a state of flux.

I'm sure you understand.  Thank you for your understanding.
In the next few weeks, this page will  be moving to a new

Spelling:
Pages 132-133 due 2/14.

Language:
Page 121 A-C due 2/14.

Science:
Due to a typo in an earlier assignment notice, all grades for the
recent online test at quizlab.com have been reset.

If your child has already taken the test and is satisfied with
his/her grade they may keep that grade and not retake the test.

If the grade was unsatisfactory and your child wishes to retake
the test, he or she may do so.  The test is called
"Science Unit D - Lesson 1".  It covers the following
pages in the book:  D6-D25.

It is a 16 item multiple choice test.  The deadline has been extended
until Thursday, February 20.
