Ocean Dreams
Today I dreamt of home,
the salt sea air so cool
The surge of waves so strong,
a storm from off so far
There I stood still and sure,
watching the tempest unfold
Roads were covered in the brine,
and still the tides rose
Homes and shops closed up their doors,
but could not hold it back
The ocean would have her way,
and I could only watch
