| ADDING FOG LIGHTS | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Though modifying the cars front end to accept fog lights is the buyers responsibility, but I will show you the tecnniques I used when modifying my own car. First you need to decide which front end you want to modify. The car pictured in the ad is the Xmods Toyota Supra. Other models will be different but the same technique should be sufficient to modify them as well. I picked one of the front ends that came with the Xmods Toyota Supra Body Kit. I picked this particular front end because it already had fake painted in fog lights which would be a good place to modify with led lighting. |

| First,I drilled a hole smaller than the size I needed. Then slowly enlarged the hole by moving the drill bit in a circular motion until my headlight led would fit through with a tight secure fit. This is the goal, to try to drill a hole large enough for the led to fit through tightly, but small enough that the led will not push through the hole or fit loosely. The key is to do it slowly and keep checking by trying to push the led in the hole. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| A better, more precise way would be to use a needle file to help enlarge the hole. It takes longer but the risk of making the hole to big is less. It also gives a smoother, more finished appearance when completed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Next, simply plug in the color you want into the fog light wiring assemble and insert into the modified fog light holes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| If by some chance you make the hole alittle to large, you could us hot glue, or rubber cement to secure the fog lights in place. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I find it easier to install and secure the fog lights with the front end off. Then after I install the fogs, I re-attach the front end. Remember to secure all wires of the lighting system with tape so loose wiring doesn't interfere with the moving parts of the vehicle. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
