Welcome to the website of the "Tootsie Roll". The name came to be by a good buddy of mine as well as a fellow Chevy Talk member saw me driving down the road one day. He told me that when saw the the truck and me it looked like a "Giant Tootsie Roll". Since then the name has stuck.
    The truck was in storage in a pasture for almost 2 years because of a blown engine. Finally I was able to buy a crate engine for the truck and start it's "restoration" of it. This has been an ongoing process and still continues. I have owned the truck for 6 years now and I am only the 2nd owner. I have alot of work to go before it's to where I want it to be.
