You will need Dynatron #660 for the filler around the radio. It is an epoxy based flexible bumper repair kit. The Bezel in the Silverado is made of PC (polycarbonate). The Dynatron # 660 bonds very well with PC and ABS. Do not attempt to use Bondo body filler in this application. Bondo body filler does not bond with ABS or PC. It will adhere, but not is not structurally supportive. |

After I grinded away the area for the radios I used the aluminum tape behind the bezel to support the filler. I filled in all areas by spreading with the supplied stick around the edges until I was at the approximate location for the radio edge. Back to the truck to take measurements on the exact location of the double din on the filler. Again grind away filler until the 2 dins fit well. It will take a couple tries or so to get it fitting right. Fill in any low spots or imperfections with more filler. Now sand the area well and use more filler if needed. |

I used Sem Color Coat in Graphite over the stock silver OmniFi faceplate after it was completely disassembled. |

It is time to paint it or "Color Coat" it. I wasn't really able to match the texture to the rest of the black in the bezel yet but I blended it well. You cannot tell unless you are sitting there looking for it. The satin black is a perfect match to the rest of the black. I taped off the areas I didn't want painted with blue tape and paper. |
