| Cassie chose to put her, light brown hair with blonde highlights, in twists. She pulled her hair into a french twist and accented the starnds of hair with curls. She left a few out of the french twist so they could hang down along the side of her face, she curled those as well. She decided to go light on the makeup. A base coat of foundation with some light snow plum blush. She chose a white eye shadow and dabbed an ever so thin layer of a silver color on top of that. When Brian rang the door bell Cassie yelled "I GOT IT!!" "Good because I'm not moving from this spot! I'm sleepinggg...." Jess yelled from the couch in the living room. Cassie laughed and opened the door to find a smiling Brian and a half asleep Nick. This made her laugh again, "Hey Brian....um hey Nick....tired much?" "Yes but he made me get up," Nick said pointing at Brian accusingly. "I did not!! All I told ya was that I'm going to Cassie and Jess's and that you could have the day to your self." "Well...come on in guys, Nick, go sleep in the living room or something," she laughed, "Or you can join Jess on the couch." At that Nick was wide awake and wanted directions to the couch. "You ready Cassie? I have the perfect place to go to for the day." Brian said. "Yep, lets just go tell Nick and Jess we're leaving." They went into the living room and saw the too fast asleep on the couch, Nick was on his back and Jess was laying on his stomach with her head rested on his chest. "We shouldn't wake them, we were up late last night." commented Cassie. Brian took Cassie to a cafe along the beach. After the cafe they went down to the local carnival that was being held on the main stretch of Orlando. "Bri, I am having so much fun! Thank you" Cassie said giving him a hug. "Your welcome, what about I win you that big bear over there, and then we head back to your place?" She smiled,"Sounds great to me." ******************************************************* Jess was in the kitchen making some popcorn when suddenly someone grab her sides. "Ahhh!!!" she yelled and popcorn flew everywhere. Nick started laughing histerically. "Nickolas Gene Carter!! I'm gonna kill you!" She yelled as he took off running. She chased after him up the stairs and lost him. She looked in the first room she came to but he wasn't there. "Nick? Where'd you go?" She heard something in her and Cassie's room so she tiptoed in there. She thought it came from the closet so she snuck over to it to open the closet door. Nick had been hiding behind the door and jumped out and grabbed her and tickled her to the ground. "Ahh... Nick...stop...I'm gonna pee...my..PANTS!!!" Jess said laughing. He finally stopped and they both were laughing. They quieted down as they looked in each others eyes and Nick leaned forward to kiss her. She kissed him back and he suddenly broke away. "Umm I think we should go watch Tv" Nick said nervously. He stood up and reached for her hand without looking at her. She slowly took it and he helped her up then he turned and walked away. She followed him downstairs more confused then ever. They sat on seperate ends of the couch and watched tv, taking quick glances at each other every once in a while. Jess looked out the window to see Brian and Cassie pulling in the driveway. ****************************************************** "Hahahahaha, that's great! I bet you didn't do that again." Cassie and Brian pulled into the driveway laughing and talking. "So what's something embarrassing for you? I mean, the most increadibal embarrassing thing that has happend to you?" asked Brian as we walked up the steps. "Well... It was on New Years. Like right after the ball dropped. I was with Jess at her house back home, we were walking down the steps to her basement when I was thinking, "Don't fall, don't fall." And it happend. I was like 5 from the bottom, and I slide down the last 5 steps. I had a bruised tail bone for over 3 months." When Brian and Cassie entered the house, they stoped talking to look at the scene in front of them. Nick and Jess were sitting at opposite ends of the couch. Both had lookes of confusion on their faces. "Jess? You ok girl?" Jess asked. "Yeah I'm fine, I'm gonna go take a shower." "Jess wait up a sec!" yelled Cassie. As Cassie ran up the stairs after Jess, Brian went to talk to Nick. "Yo, Nick, man, what was that about? I thought you liked Jess?" "I do." "Well what happend then?" "I...I kissed her, she kissed back, but I pulled away." |
