I would like to share with you my testimony on how I received
"The Greatest Gift"
I came from a strong catholic family, by saying that I don't mean going to church every sunday I just mean going maybe on holidays or once in a great while, but stood firm that being a catholic made me a christian. My family believed that if we gave our share of money,and attended church on special occasions and once in awhile that we were good enough to
go to heaven.I never committed any murders or stole anything so surely I was good enough to get into heaven, right? Well I didn't really
know I was going to heaven, but I wasn't all that bad so I figure I probably would go. I went to CCD classes on wednesday's after school and
did my first holy communion, oh yes almost forgot I was baptized as a baby so surely then my sins were washed away, right?
Drinking was a major thing in my family, not alcoholic type drinking,
but any occasion we could find we would have alcohol there. Although I filled my life with these things I still felt empty. I looked for something to
fill my emptiness in other churches, and still didn't find what I was looking for, not that I even new what I was looking for. Then my 1st year in college, I met my future husband,
he started to ask me strange questions after we started to date. Like what I thought about God and what Jesus meant to me. I didn't think there was anything more then what I knew there was about God so
I naturally assumed that he didn't believe in God, but the more he asked the more I knew that was not the case. His family also started to witness to me, not only telling me, but actually showing me scripture from the bible to prove what they said was true. They showed me that there is only one way to heaven and that I could be certain I would go there when I died, and that Christ didn't die on the cross for nothing, he died on the cross for me and if I put my faith and trust on what He did that I would live in eternity with Him. That is when I started to realize that there was something more then just believing that there is a God, I realized how much of a loving God He was to send his only Son to die for me, to cleanse me of my sins. All I needed to do was ask Jesus into my life, to put my trust in him and confess that I know I am a sinner, and I know with all my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and arose from the dead to conquer death, then and only then would I be heaven bound. I don't know about you, but I wanted to be sure I was going to heaven, burning in hell for eternity (and eternity is longer then a lifetime) I did not want. Also to know I could give all my burdens and hardships over to Him that every decision I made if I just gave it to him, I cannot even describe how it feels to look to God in every decision of my life and know He is in control no matter what.
So on December 1993 at
1:00am I prayed and put my trust in the Lord. I am so thankful I made that decision, now I didn't change over night, but when you truly put your faith in God the holy spirit convicts your heart about things you are doing that you know are wrong and slowly pulls the sinful weeds from your life. You should also have a desire to get rid of them. As you grow in the Lord and read the word of God the holy spirit starts to work on your heart and changes you, it is a wonderful peace, a peace that only faith in the Lord can give you. If you were to die today, would you know without a doubt that you are going to heaven?
The bible says;
1.sinners cannot get into heaven,
2.Works & just being "good" cannot get you into heaven,
So if all these things cannot get us into heaven, then what can
1. REALIZE THAT YOU ARE A BORN SINNER
(SINNERS CANNOT GET INTO HEAVEN)
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;
1 John 1:8 If we say we have no sin , we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
2. PENALTY OF SIN/HELL/SEPERATION FROM GOD
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST
our LORD.
Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine, as the soul of the Father, so also the soul of the Son is mine: the
soul that sinneth , it shall die
Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie:but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth
forth death.
3. YOU CAN'T SAVE YOURSELF/WHAT PAYS FOR SIN
WORKS CANNOT GET YOU INTO HEAVEN
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Ephesians 2:8,9For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not by works lest
any man should boast.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by me.
Romans 5:8,9 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

4. GOD'S REMEDY FOR US TO GET TO HEAVEN/RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
Romans 5:8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins
according to the scriptures;
Acts 4:12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we
must be saved.
Romans10:9,10,13 That if thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, so to know where you will spend eternity is very important don't wait till it's too late.
If you agree 100% and believe with all your heart (faith) 100% about all we went over above then your next step is to pray to God
tell him you know you are a sinner, and that you want Him to come into your life and your heart to change you
that you believe with all your heart in Jesus and that He died on the cross for your sins and that God raised Him from the dead and conquered death.
HOW DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE YOU ARE SAVED AND GOING TO HEAVEN?

Philipians 1;6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun
a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
John 10:27-29 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life;
and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all
;and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
