Chet Cortellesi is an aspiring poet from Central America (Ohio).
With the death of his father at an early age, seeking connection with a heavenly father was quite natural, and
led him to explore various religions and cultural forms of worship.
While his early years were steeped in codependency and marked with the usual experimentations with consciousness altering chemicals, he is now an avid holistic health believer. Being married (and divorced) from a respected astrologer and tarot card reader, and via his own journey into developing his artistic gifts (and reading of others), Chet has gained a diverse understanding of spirituality, sociology, psychology, metaphysics and various personal growth resources.
With his curiosity into any cultural practice and belief, he is aware of the layers of meaning that people attach to their structures, while projecting doubt/fear onto others who are different.
This understanding has developed both a compassion for all others, and a seeker's mentality into perceiving operating metaphors within other people's lives.
From this cosmological background, his poetry stems from his own gropings with sexuality, self-discovery, and generativity.
