My name is CJ Stauffer. That's where the CJ of CJB comes from. I used to go by the internet alias Blake Birling. That's where the B comes from. I usually get ideas for songs albiet funny or emotional from actual events which may make some songs difficult to understand if you don't know my life. This is why I have the page which explains all the songs. I've been recording songs since 1994 and you wouldn't say I can't sing now if you heard some of those songs from back then. All right, I'm not a very good singer and most of my songs have poor sound quality, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy them. Go ahead and download the feature song. In addition to songs, I also write screenplays and books. I haven't published anything yet, but that's 'cuz I haven't finished anything yet. I write and write and write on one idea, then I get "a better one" and write on that one abandoning the first idea, and this process has been repeating since I started my first novel in 1999. Some say I should write an autobiography to tell all about the ups and downs and whatnot I've been through in my life. Hell, I'm only 22, but what I've been through so far in my bipolar (manic/depressive) life, I could fill the room. Maybe I should wait till I'm 50 and write a huge autobiography. Or maybe I could write one now and a sequel in 25 years. Oh, hell, I'm over my head here. Then there's the idea of being an actor. Whatever will I do with my life? Oh well, fuck me, look at the CDs, that's what this site is for anyway, not for me to talk to you all night. |
