EMPLOYMENT HISTORY WITH PROJECT PROFILES

Palarco, Inc., 09/99 - Present

  • Craig is currently providing project based Lotus Notes & Domino consulting services to a wide range of clients on an ongoing basis. Craig has been upgrading the internal network and server infrastructure for Palarco to support web site hosting as an available service when in between projects. Craig has rapidly gained experience in Lotus Notes & Domino application development while with Palarco, Inc.  Specific project work includes but is not limited to:
    • o Serve as technical lead for any and all Lotus Notes & Domino Administration issues.

      o Building a business-to-business extranet web site for a large furniture manufacturing company to allow vendors to order their goods and services, track orders real-time, and view order history at any time. Project requires back end AS/400 DB2 to Lotus Notes integration using a mix of DECS and LotusScript LSX ODBC extensions.

      o Building a Notes client based application for a large manufacturing firm to allow multiple independently owned subsidiaries to utilize Lotus Notes as a common front end for payroll activities (pre/post tax deductions, adds/changes/deletes, etc.) using a mix of LEI and LSX ODBC extensions (Lotus Enterprise Integrator 3.0) to communicate to back end AS/400 DB2 physical and logical files as master data sources.

      o Architected and installed multiple instances of Domino for AS/400 for multiple clients.

IQ Group, Inc., 11/98 - 07/99

  • Craig's last consulting assignment was at a major power utility company as the Lead Domino Server Administrator. His primary responsibilities included the design, planning, implementation and support of a Lotus Notes & Domino Release 5 pilot and production architecture that served as the primary email and application development platform for the company into the year 2000 and beyond. Specific duties included but were not limited to:
    • o Detailed Lotus Notes & Domino R4 & R5 architecture design documentation

  • Craig served as an IT Consultant and Senior Lotus Domino and Windows NT Server Administrator for a major chemical, oil, and gas company. Primary responsibilities included the re-design, planning, coordination, and implementation of a Notes/Domino infrastructure capable of supporting over 100,000 users by the year 2000. This included serving as project manager for the research, recommendation, testing, design, planning, implementation and support of an enterprise-wide server monitoring and reporting tool. Served as a senior technical resource for the 2nd/3rd level helpdesk personnel when difficult problems arose. Daily responsibilities included but were not limited to:
    • o 2nd level helpdesk support to assist 1st level support personnel with troubleshooting (approximately 10 hours per week).

      o 24X7 off hours support for all Lotus Domino/Windows NT servers.

      o Integration of foreign Notes networks from mergers/acquisitions and joint-ventures

      o Participation in a Notes infrastructure audit performed by Lotus Consulting/IBM

      o Maintenance, monitoring, and break-fix of a large electronic corporate directory services Notes database with multiple replicas across the enterprise.

      o Create/modify documentation for any/all Notes Administrative policies and procedures

      o Maintenance and monitoring of the enterprise-wide Domino replication topology to ensure efficient hub and spoke replication.

      o Research and recommend server hardware upgrade paths, and new server hardware specifications for all Domino servers utilizing Windows NT Server.

  • Craig served as an IT Consultant and Senior Notes Analyst for a major pharmaceutical company. Craig's responsibilities included the design, coordination, and implementation of a Notes/Domino standard operating procedures manual, corporate-wide Domino Intranet strategy, and an overall corporate Notes/Domino strategy. The standard operating procedures manual emphasized daily Notes administrative policies and implementation procedures heavily, including detailed procedures for Domino Web Administration. Craig authored most of the daily policies and procedures and all of the Web administration policies and procedures. Standard application development policies and procedures were also included for the company's development staff.

Applied Card Systems, Inc., 01/96 - 10/97

  • Craig served as the Notes Architect and Lead Server Administrator for a major credit and financing firm. Craig's responsibilities included daily Lotus Notes administrative procedures emphasizing the security of the Lotus Notes & Domino platform, overall Intel server and Lotus Notes & Domino corporate strategy, and coordination of Lotus Notes application development projects. In addition, he designed and implemented plans for automated workflow databases within Lotus Notes and also served as Notes Development Project Manager for Notes Application Developers on staff. His other duties included:
    • o Served as Lead Domino Systems Administrator and Lead Notes Developer.

      o Served as Lead OS/2 and Windows NT Server Administrator A responsible for all aspects of the server operating systems.

      o Integrated multiple file, print, and application servers utilizing multiple protocols (netBIOS, TCP/IP, SPX) across LANs and WANs.

      o Researched and procured automated server administration utilities.

      o Created and maintained server administrative policies and procedures documentation.

      o Created custom database applications via Lotus Notes application development and basic LotusScript including Application requests, customer service inquires, tracking databases, on-line manuals, on-line training documentation, and microfilm statement requests.
